A Legacy of Care and Compassion
Established in 1982 by Haji Hasham Haji Ahmed in memory of his son Muhammad Usman, Usman Memorial Hospital has been a beacon of quality healthcare in Karachi. In May 2016, the hospital was acquired by the Usman Memorial Hospital Foundation and underwent extensive renovations, upgrades, and expansion from 2016 to 2018. The entire facility was transformed, with state-of-the-art equipment introduced across radiology, operating theatres, CSSD, laboratories, and blood bank services.
Today, UMH stands as one of Karachi’s premier secondary care hospitals, offering high-quality medical services in a modern, air-conditioned environment. With affordable rates, compassionate staff, and a strong commitment to patient welfare, UMH continues to ensure healthcare is accessible to all through its Patient Welfare Program.
